Ok... i know, we haven't updated in ages!!
I did bug the BF to do something about it, he promised to update once a month, then later after a month passed, he promised to update on a certain day, then... well, least we all know he's bad at keeping promises.

Hehehe.. kidding, he does keep his promises well with me, he damn well do! *LOL*

I decided to differentiate our posts, with color.

So... my computer's really "sick" now. I totally blame myself for causing it this terrible illness that perhaps, only reformatting it is the only situation. Reformat=born again. So i conclude, my com's down with a deadly disease. All because i thought some dumbass site would provide me with the information i need, and i had to be the numbskull who downloaded the file. It's like i made my comp, "prostituted" itself for some useless info, thus it got infected with this disease. =( And i didn't even get what i was searching for!! %^#@!$%@#!!!

I'm sucha irresponsible owner! Oh well... guess its time to get it reformat soon coz its slowing down alot and it may crash anytime soon.

Like the layout? I thought the black & white one was pretty dull, i'm sure alot of you agree with me. It's hard to find a nice layout coz i realized that almost all those layouts are super Emo, man! Just wanted some cheerful, bright and non-Emo templates.

Ok, so let's rewind back to Valentine's Day now.
We had at $180++ 5 course dinner at DALLAS, this restaurant situated at Boat Quey.

Ripped this from Singaporebrides.com though it doesn't actually look this perfect, i found out that they do wedding solemnization in the restaurant itself too!

This is the 3rd level, it overlooks the Singapore river. The solemnization is done here... i don't think its very fantastic coz by night, the whole stretch of boat quey is filled with noisy ang mo expats drinking at the nearby pubs.

Me and our main dish, some stuffed lobster, lamb and chicken something... stuffed too.

Sorry, i had to end this straight to dessert coz once the food came we totally forgot about taking any pics and immediately start tucking in. Even the desserts were already half eaten. ho ho ho..

We wanted to go to Altivo at Mount Faber one night but unfortunately, it was under some major renovation, everything was ripped and dug and taken down.. but we managed to find this gorgeous thing and saw every tom, dick couple taking pictures with it.

Tsk, tsk tsk.. Niang eh... super chio or wad rite! Hahaha... thank god i brought the 7.1megapixels Digi cam along, otherwise his Hp cam wouldn't take sucha good pic. The Fella who took it for us should have zoomed in la.. see! The white barrier behind can see also.. Spoil it. But i reckon the Big flower heart shape is sucha nice backdrop!!! You sickening lovey dovey couples should go!! Hahaha...

Before that, we headed to Vivocity to get some shopping done. The BF got a splendid news that his Sister bought him the new PS3. *grumbles* Ok ok.. i'm excited for him too. But he's gonna glue himself to it once he gets his hands on that! See how nice he smiles now.

I've been pretty much slacking alot these days and its abt a mth now since i last worked. Honestly, it doesn't make much of a difference whether i'm working or not, coz the previous job i had was pretty much a laid back one. And yes, i'm getting a little bored & fed up feeling so listless.

The boy and i went over to Desaru for X'mas and it was good. The food, sand and sun. Awesome! We were discouraged by my mom abt the roads to Desaru were flooded and the constant rain there. That almost led us to canceling the trip. The boy was utterly disappointed when i mentioned that we should call it off. He gave THE look

And so, i had to give in. I decided we should just go and see if there's an alternative route. And fortunately everything seems to be a smooth ride, from the journey till the end of the trip...

And when we reached the hotel, it doesn't look as impressive as the one i saw on thier website.. but anyways...

Santa looked like he broke his back. After that we got ready for dinner... that is after we had a solid nap..

And i had to have a freaking zit on that day! Tsk! can't stand it. After dinner, they had some games to keep us occupied till the countdown..

The prizes are rather mediocre. But still, everyone looked forward to winning one of the hampers. They had games like Bingo, limbo etc etc... we took part in the couples game, of coz, we won~! hahaha... He won a voucher for a free mocktail on the Bingo game. And i thought i was winning... blaaa...

The countdown was a bummer... so few pple stayed up, so the host was practically counting down himself. Oh, and did i mentioned the host seems to play every part of the whole entertainment? He was the host, singer, keyboardist and the next thing i know, he's sitting right behind the games counter reception. What de hell?!

The next day...Dragged his fat ass out to watch the sun rise. Unfortunately, there was no sight of the sun rising...
So we headed for breakfast.

They had a pathetic mini-zoo.

That consist of 3 amazing different species of animals. The rabbits, a python & chickens, not forgetting the cocks. Apparently, the python was caught when he sneaked into the chicken's cage. The stench was bloody unbearable!!

Basically we just eat and sleep... and swam alot. There wasn't any water sports also... The next day we did the same thing, woke up for breakfast and took our leave. It wasn't a bad trip, we had fun at the same time too. The Bf thought he's still some 8 yr old and decided to give the kiddy slide a try. LOL.. he ended up hurting his knuckles. You too fat la!!

Back home

That's all for the Desaru trip, i know it's not alot of pics but there wasn't anything remotely interesting to take also.

Then came New Year..

Had New year's eve dinner at home with all, not including my sister coz she decided to leave us for cheap steamboat. *grumbles* Then the boy and I headed to kallang river to watch the fireworks..

And left for Kelong fishing the next day...

We even picked mussles. Was a dirty job but really fun! The wind in your face, peace and tranquility. Away from the hussle and bussles. Then we had our very own "chill out" time...

Very aggressive when it comes to money huh.. hahaha...

Those 2 asses won't let me take a nice pic of myself. So after blackjack, we speedboat back to mainland and had dinner. That's abt it for New Year!!

I gotta say my last b'day was the most awesome one ever...Thanks to behbee... knowing how much effort and initiative she put into it...i must say i have to be grateful to have behbee...I love u dear..

Then came X'mas...which we spent in the wonderful The Pulai Beach Resort. Behbee got all the pics...It was the first Xmas i celebrated. We drove to Desaru on Xmas eve...had an awesome X'mas eve gala dinner serenaded by a wonderful local singer. After which it was all fun and games like Bingo, couples' game etc. (which we won hands down!) followed by a lucky draw that we never had the luck to win....sianz..

The food buffets there were very impressive..They had a wide variety of menus to choose from.
The room was quite like we expected...nothing fantastic...but the tv seemed like it was gonna blow any second.

The last morning, we had a walk on the serene beach, where it was just me, behbee the sun, sand and the sea....it was such a beautiful sight to behold..behbee was playing police and thief with the waves...

It was a great way to spend the xmas...

On our way back, we decided to go over to Sg Rengit to find a confectionery shop there...however we nearly got lost and stopped over at a roadside shop selling puffs, kueh mueh and drinks instead..

While heading towards Singapore, we decided to stop by Jusco for some post Xmas and pre new year shopping..then it was home sweet home...behbee fell sick that day...told her not to go swimming...but she nvr listen...at last kenah flu...poor behbee...

Well i am sure behbee had fun...i sure did...Gr8 one for the memories..!

Hahaa... it was the BF's burstday on 30th Nov. I know its a 'lil late now to post these pictures up. But, wadda hell... better then nothing at all.

So i planned this surprise party for him. Stole a couple of his friend's numbers from his phone without his knowledge. liaised with the restaurant manager by mail, gave him my budget and let him work around with it.

Then i got him a cake from Sheraton Towers. The chocolatey rich yummy-licious famous cake. Yeah... you could say i spent quite abit. But well.. its all worth it. It really is. I know he has this dream that someday, someone special will make his birthday a memorable one. He told me so... in fact, he told all his friends so! Lol... so i took the initiaive to make this young man's wish come true.

He's gonna remember this for the rest of his life! Muaahhhahaaa...

I managed to do a couple of DIY decorations. Bought the birthday banner. Stuck it up on the walls by myself! Yeah... one man show. Oh! that's exculding the portrait. They told me they can't take that out.. *tsk*

Its always the case where all the good girls wanna hang out with the badboys...even though they know in the end that they will smhow end up getting hurt. They try to live in the 0.1% chance that the badboy (for eg. diddy) will know how to swallow his pride, give up his typicall fu*king ard antics and eventually stay loyal & truthful to these "gdgirls"...y even bother wasting their time?

So its Xmas round the corner and it certainly feels so with the weather being kinda chilly and bright lights and xmas trees around practically everywhere..

So i gotta confrontation wit da so called "supervisor" at work tom..wonder what he has already kp bout me to my manager. Asshole..all those times i stood up for him and he just pushes me off the cliff..what goes around certainly come ard i guess...nvr expected tat kinda shit from my "supervisor" though...such a fu*king asswipe..its time for me to stand my ground...
oh ya and the pay increase the promised this month...there is not a even a single word going ard bout it...and nobody seems bothered...

i figured out smtimes pple rather avoid these kinda confrontations regarding wages and the increased workload..especially when the phrase "if u cant do the job i am paying you for, i can always find sm1 who will do more for less" seems to be heard so frequently these days..its a dog eat dog world...there is always sm1 to replace you...gone are those days where my manager used to say..."without any 1 of u guys...i am fu*ked"

Well i could always find a job that could pay better, but its just the feeling of finding a new job, going for interviews, settling into a new environment, making new friends, overcoming office gossip/politics..etc etc etc....that really scares me..i mean i am so settled here...i no longer feel like i am dragging my ass to work...

well hopefully things are more clear next yr...its been a hack of a year..passed so fast..

Well.. well.. i know you guys are waiting for an update from me. But, just like everyone else is, i'm addicted to Facebook currently and have no damn time to put up a post.

Rite.. so abt a week back , was the Queen's (a.k.a mua) *ahem* birthday. It wasn't anything fancy or elaborate. Just a day out with the Bf to Sentosa... Island of many ridiculous priced attractions.

Aite…its been really a long time since I last blogged. Haf to say its been a busy month or so..Well Baby’s bday was just over. Kinda kept it low profile and simple..(but hope she liked it) Bought baby a mango cake minutes to midnight of her bday..Celebrated it just btw the both of us..Followed by a day at Sentosa..its been a really long time since I last visited Sentosa and its exhibits..I gotta say it was really a gd day out..(wish I had charged the camera though)*slap on the head*…however we did still manage to take some photos..which I believe baby would upload soon..thank god for phones with cameras these days..Most importantly I managed to bring the laughter and smiles I so wanted to see from Baby’s face…it was the most meaningful token of appreciation. Rather I shouldn’t be expecting anything in return…but I guess experiencing her enlightenment was heartfelt and unlike any other…great memories.

And so…life goes on.. Baby came across a couple of blogs which she shared with me…Most of it about guys who said bout being different from all the other guys..Come to think about it..those words that these pple claim has become such a cliché..It has been overused and under meant. Almost every guy starts using it these days (even I did) making those who really are different seem ordinary. So every guy becomes the different kinda same guy. How is it then are we able to blame the opposite sex for not believing in our words. When almost every guy that they meet claims to be “the one”, “the different one”…In the end the all end up to be the same type of guy..”the one that breaks the heart and leaves” Well of course there are girls with the capabilities to be heartbreakers as well..

Sinners are not born, they are bred. “Be not of evil, but overcome evil with good” goes the age old biblical quote. Guys can promise a lot of things, but its up to the girls to ever believe in their words. Some guys find take a harder and longer time to eventually convince the girl to be by their side. Some give up half way or even before the halfway point of trying to convince the other party. Sometimes we cannot blame the “receiver” of promises. For the “receiver” may have been taken in by the initial promises that were made and let the person making such promises get the best of them. In the end the “giver” leaves and the “receiver” is left wondering if it was ever worth making such and effort to let them in. The “receiver” is then in a mental stage of negativity and self protection, never willing to let anyone else to get the best of them. 1 mistake is gd enough a lesson to learn from. How do you eventually convince the other party to engage in a relationship with you then?Do we really think they can put themselves through another rollercoaster?what are the chances of the next relationship thriving? Can people actual keep on moving on after heartbreaking relationships?What are the chances that they dun get hurt again in that if they eventually do move on?Do they take a risk to step up or are they better of safe guarding themselves? ,Relationships will have to stand the test of time. Actions always speak louder than words. “no promises”, “just do it”. “words are only words”

True love lies in the determination and patience in trying to convince your partner that you are indeed the right one for them. “I Love You” another sentence that has also been overused these days. Do we actually mean it when we speak of such words. What is love anyway? Then what about Love at first sight? The only love that I am fully convinced about is the unconditional one. The one that is engraved in the hearts of most parents who painstakingly bring up their kids only to eventually to be chucked aside in an old folks home. Even then they will still love you.

Why can’t all of us (including me) put aside all of our ego and pride, give in to one another. Stop blaming one another for our own mistakes.

Yeah…right..if it was only that easy..there wouldn’t be a need for words at all..

Too Fat To Fuck

Alrite, no pun intended for the above title. Just got this quote from a book titled, Fat Girl by Judith Moore. Pretty interesting memoir, yes, its a true story. I guess the word FAT kinda got to me, feeling all touchy about the word, decided to read the book. And the first thing it's written is "you're too fat to fuck!", Ouch! Now that definitely hurts. Gawd.. it just brings back aching memories.

I was once upon a time, too fat to fuck. Literally.
I won't say i'm all slim and svelte now. Or rather in layman terms, fuckable. Well, at least i did managed to loose almost almost 35 pounds.
ok, we shall not once again remind me that i just gained 3kg.

I was heaviest at 62kg! for a height of 157cm.. i almost couldn't see my feet.
Don't ask for any pics weighing at 62kg, my utmost worst enemy was the camera.

And i decided i could shed some pounds. This was still 50+kg.

Ok, so after a couple of years, got rid of those unsightly eyebrows, fat and all that jazz.

Sigh.. though my ass's flat, boobs are too small, i fit nicely into many pretty clothes i never thought i could once fit in. Those times i walked pass those boutiques, thinking to myself when will i ever be able to wear that, those heels... when will it able to carry me. I got myself working hard on that dream and eventually made it happen. A change of wardrobe is quite costly, DUH! u even have to buy a whole new set of undergarments! but nevertheless, pretty clothes filled my wardrobe as time pass...

Ahh... its ironic how ppl change their character, attitude and even their looks in a short time.
Take my best bud in sec sch for example.
She has always been the most boyish, psychopathic and toughest tom boy in class.
She follows wherever i go and i'd drag her along too.
But since then she always had this nice, slim, sexy bod.
I saw her in her bathing suit, and thought she looks terrific. Come on! when you're fat, you'll naturally admire ppl like that wad.

But i always thought its sucha waste, with such a nice bod, long legs, model height, clear skin, nice hazel brown eyes. She'd rather become sucha butch with pigtails, big baggy jeans,oversized tops and stomps around like a ogre.

She's doing freelance modeling now. Shows, drama etc. I haven't been in contact with her like forever coz of her change of attitude. Perhaps fame do make one change drastically. *shrugs*
Awrite, nuff of her. Don't want her to steal my thunder. =P

Allow me to digress,
I sneaked out of work last fri and made the bf took half day leave to accompany me.
Went to The National Library, (psst... the bf's a geek. trust me.)

This was a total natural shot. I don't look a bit exaggerated rite?
So the geek tries his luck at imitating, but unfortunately appears like he just shat his pants.

Then told me that with frequent forced bowel movements, he can one day become like LL Cool J.
(pls pardon the finger in the middle, it might be mistaken for smthing else, but its definitely not.)
So to cover up the overwhelming stench across the library, he pretended to look interested and engross reading this time. I would say, he did a good cover up.

I couldn't stop laughing when i saw this card at Borders. I had to do this.

Haha... doesn't he look gay? rite..that's about it. I better hit the sack now. Had the most horrible nightmare ever! Ah.. Mon, back to work and stupid meetings. $!&^#$%!@

Well its back to work on this dreadful monday...well had a gd wkend..Hari raya just passed...but supposedly celebrations continue for a month..made some visits to the relatives on sat afternoon..then met baby in the evening..for sm drinks at indochine..followed by a late night supper (grandma's briyani)...

Indochine is a great place to chill out if u're a fan of slow rock..the live band on stage is CatsInECradle...yup the "live the dream" contestants..I haf to say they are very talented..they guitarists are quite flawless...however the lead singer sometimes tries to hard to simulate other rockstars(specifically Creed's lead singer) ...kinda no orginality..yup but his voice is quite seranading to listen to despite the occasional swallowing of lyrics..mumbling rather..

Decided we shall make it a monthly affair to visit Indochine..music aint to0 loud...still quite possible to have a decent conversation..however its quite cramp near the "sofa" areas..so its quite convenient for pple to eavesdrop..

There still is the occasional "kay siaos" on the orchard rd which is quite close to the pub..blasting their exhausts away on their turbocharged/supercharged beauties..(bastards!)..

Most importantly i managed to experience smth i always wanted to...being at a bar...sitting all so relaxed, listening to nice live rock ballads, having a nice drink...WITH a gal that you love so much, made it all the more special...thx dear for making it happen..

Yet again...no camera...regret for the lack of photographs...soon.. soon..

I'm planning to look for another job now.
I know alot of pple would kill to have my job, but i'm getting really restless and bored of it.
Besides the fact that the pay's so little, its really not worth handling so much projects for a mere $1,300 pay check.
I'm put in charge of Batam (currently they're doing up a shop there and i've to liaise with one of my Indonesian colleague regarding the renovations and such.) Oh, plus, i've a few hotels under my hand, which i also have to follow up.

More or less, boss is squeezing every ounce of energy from me at a pathetic pay.
Oh, did i also mention that my department has only 2 workers? including me. the other one is my Manager, who is always not in the office and very busy.

So if he's busy, i take over whatever that needs following up.
Sigh... even ask me to do up a website for them.
See! how much i'm being used?!
I can't even recall wads my job scope like, with all these extra work i'm handling.

Its absolutely GORGEOUS. Saw it at TOPSHOP, vivocity. Its in very shiny silver, so you've gotta know how to mix and match to be able to wear it. Definitely and eye turner. I think its about 5" heels.

I'm on a mission: to loose 3kg b4 my birthday. I've recently put on a hefty 3kg, all thanks to the doting bf of mine, bringing me for late night suppers and feeding my never ending huger for food. Damn! i've ought to look good for X'mas and New year!

Anyways i missed one damn number for 4D! yes yes.. is very rarely that i would buy 4D due to the amount of bad luck recently. I bought the number 1019, when it came out 1219 for the 3rd prize! Infuriating or what!! Geez.. i even explained to the bf that i actually wanted to buy 1219 cause of some incident i thought that lady luck was finally on my side for once, then i can't bloody remember if it was 1219 or 1019, but i thought "wad da hell.. 1019 should be it!"

Unfortunately, fate played a trick on me and it turned out to be 1219!! I felt i killing myself. Why didn't i just trust my instincts!?? Sigh.. hopefully this Saturday, it'll come out. I just missed one number, otherwise i'd be a thousand dollars richer.

Back to work now, though no one's in the office, so i'll probably leave office like...NOW! KEKE..

And so life goes on...looks like the gf has been slacking a bit..no new posts for quite sometime liao ah..

Still in the office right now...taking a little break b4 i get baq to work again. Probably will be stuck here till 10+

Had a gr8 night with gf over at east coast on tues night..we went over to Islamic, had fantastic briyani b4 tat...must make it a point to revisit again. To fully appreciate the food there...you have to indulge in the meal with your hands..like how we both found out..

We came across a sight in East coast that we couldnt help commenting about.In fact most of the pple in east coast that walked past that "sight" sure did take a second, third and forth glance at "it"..

A man dressed in track pants,windbreaker and trainers taking a walk with his wife(not really sure...could be mistress) who was dressed in hotpants,a f*cking tight tanktop and believe it or not HEELS!...i wouldnt be able to tell the difference between her and a hooters waitress if i had noticed her from the back. Even the colour combi was similar. I mean watsup with her dressing. If you think tat is common...the way she was trying so hard to flaunt her "assets"(if there were any worth noticing)...i got worried that she might break her hips or smth....i decided she wasnt sporean..no sporean would want to put herself or anyone with her under such negative attention. Buay paiseh ah? it was like she was practicing for a shemale pageant. Crazy stuff..come to think of it...only a trans would be courageous enough to do such a thing in a serene environment like tat..hmmm...

Its funny how some singaporeans like to indirectly boast about themselves in such a diplomatic way. i encounterd one such incident when i was in class yest. I am usually the reserved kinda person in class unless i am with some1 i already noe....i can be a class act. So there i was taking down notes during the lecture and the occasional SMSs to the gf..this guy sitting next to me just leaned towards me and asked me why i was writing so much...and asked if it was important...thats how it all started...b4 i knew it...there he was giving me a brief career,educational history of himself...but the way he put his words...was very interesting...he was trying to show off but being quite modest in a way...he went like..

"so many condo in singapore...but all meant for foreigners...how sporean want to afford? how much do we have to earn b4 we can buy a condo?"

he realised he was getting a bit loud and wrote down in MY NOTEBOOK..."$3.5k - my pay" , "$4k?....$5k? and so on" then he stopped at "10k" circled it several times and drew arrows towards the figure of $3.5k....followed by a sigh..."still long way to go haiz...not enuf to maintain my car...if normal car nvm...haiz i go buy wrx summore...haiz...my gf...stewardess summore...travel travel travel...haiz"

he juz got on my nerves...i nvr asked for all tat info...like if u wanna bitch bout the standard of living here...no prob man...but too much info bout ur life...be happy tat u r earning tat much..ass..

Finally the weekend is here…

Well school has started once again..Hate it when my classes fall on Fridays.. just cant concentrate in class when my lessons fall on Fridays…always thinking bout what to do after class and on sat and sun…

Hari Raya is just round the corner, and for the first time in my life I just aint bothered bout it…no one in the family seems excited bout it either…well kinda expected..all the increases in GST,PETROL, new ERP gantries, outstanding bills are constantly circling in the head reminding all of us to minimize our expenditures..

Rich getting richer, poor getting poorer…hahaha..

Fell sick right after I came back from Batam…was on MC on tues.. surprisingly when I got back to work on wed, my emails weren’t piling at all…(my mailbox usually exceeds the storage limit when I take leave or am on mc)…

The gf bought me ginseng tea on tues and yest…(thanks dear!) although it didn’t quite taste nice…I got to say it really works…feel much better already…

Looks like I got her addicted to online shopping (yahoo! Auctions) …and she has been quite an avid shopper for the past week..must find smth to take her attention away from that soon..keke

I felt like a P plate driver yesterday…hitting a kerb, mounting a kerb and mounting a central divider…my concentration was just not there..mayb coz I was thinking bout….hahahaha..nvm…well I still managed to drive home safely…

Got skool again later…then kickstart the wkend with my gf…mayb for a drink…

I am sure pple find pink more boring…nevertheless it’s the gf’s fav colour…so I dun mind..=)

My hair is perfectly alright (ok wat!) considering how much I paid for a cut and wash…(S$2!!)..but its like 75% of my highlights are gone..

I felt like a VIP over at batam…they had pple opening doors for us almost everywhere we went.. even in macdonalds..and I tasted the best seafood hor fun ever…thx to a late night craving from the gf..

I think its quite a practical idea to migrate to batam if I should get a expat job there..the standard of living is much much lower than that of beloved nation of Singapore (said with pride)

Business options? Not many…unless u’re gonna outsource your manpower intensive activities over there..

Well I better not go on like a ….a…..geek as the gf might say..but I am just being practical and honest..

Damn all the Mitsubishi MIVECS are exported to batam…no wonder there are hardly any challenge left for the VTECS in spore….it is also impossible to travel above 60km/h considering the heavy traffic (or rather slow moving traffic) and poor road conditions (there are potholes every 100m)..

This should not be a problem if you buy an off road vehicle, you can use the sand and grass patches beside the roads as an overtaking lane, and you do not have to come to a frequent slowdown coz of the potholes..
Well better get back to work..will carry on later..

Newcastle United striker Michael Owen is keen to prove his fitness to Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Daily Mail says Owen would understandably come to Old Trafford like a shot if United trigger the release clause in his contract.
Ferguson has already spoken to United chief executive David Gill about his plans for the summer and has been told that there is money to spend.
Ferguson said: "I would hope to add a couple of players in the summer who will improve us.
"We're talking about that now. There won't be sweeping changes, maybe just one or two coming in who would have the talent to make a difference.

Arsenal captain Thierry Henry believes Manchester United's Paul Scholes deserves this year's PFA Player of the Year award.

Manchester United midfielder Scholes, 32, is on the six-man shortlist along with Henry's team-mate Cesc Fabregas, Chelsea striker Didier Drogba, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ryan Giggs and last year's winner Steven Gerrard.
United winger Ronaldo, 22, is the bookmakers favourite and, like Fabregas, is also nominated for the PFA's young player award.
For Henry, however, it is the contribution former England international Scholes has made following his return to fitness with the Barclays Premiership leaders after a long lay off because of blurred vision which stands him out this season.
"Good luck to Cesc, but obviously I am not allowed to vote for a team-mate, my vote went to Paul Scholes," said the Arsenal captain.

Bayern Munich last night finally accepted defeat in their bid to keep the England midfielder.
Talks have taken place between the two clubs since Bayern crashed out of the Champions League to AC Milan last Wednesday.
Hargreaves, 26, has also again told the German club's chiefs he wants a move to Old Trafford.

Manchester United's hopes of prising Fernando Torres away from Atletico Madrid have been hit by the news that the highly-rated Spanish striker is not looking to leave his boyhood club in the summer.
United, Liverpool, Chelsea and a host of Europe's leading clubs have continually been linked with moves for the Spain international.
But the Atletico captain claims he wants to play in the Champions League with his hometown club and is not looking to leave Spain at the end of the season.

Sir Alex Ferguson plans to make two additions to his Manchester United squad in the summer.
Though United are chasing a second Treble this season, Ferguson already has designs on the 2007/08 campaign.
Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves remains a long-term target for the Premiership leaders, while Southampton full-back Gareth Bale has been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Outlining his summer transfer plans, Ferguson admits he is likely to follow last year's policy when Michael Carrick and Tomasz Kuszczak were brought to the club.

Rooney strikes as Man United go six points clear

LONDON, April 17 - Wayne Rooney steered Manchester United to a 2-0 victory over Sheffield United that sent them six points clear at the top of the Premier League on Tuesday.
Rooney's side were looking to keep the pressure on second-placed Chelsea, who visit West Ham United on Wednesday, and took a fourth-minute lead through midfielder Michael Carrick.
England striker Rooney made sure of the points five minutes into the second half at Old Trafford, lashing the ball home after a fine move.
Arsenal climbed to third with a 3-1 home victory over Manchester City in the night's other game.

Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who got Arsenal's winner on Saturday against Bolton Wanderers, restored the advantage with a 73rd-minute volley before Brazilian Julio Baptista netted after good work by Belarus midfielder Alexander Hleb.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger felt Fabregas's strike was the turning point.

Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock rates Manchester United as the best team in the world.
The Blades face United tomorrow night and Warnock said: "It's a bit sadistic putting this game on television, but that's producers for you.
"It's a game nobody will give us a chance of getting anything out of. I think the bookies' odds will be just on how many goals we concede.
"A win would be a miracle and the result of the decade, not just the season, with the way they are playing at the moment.
"How do you cope against a team who are, without a shadow of a doubt, the best in the world right now?
"There is no other team that has a forward line like Manchester United, and I would have thought they all want to play against us.
"They will all be thinking it's a great opportunity to score a hat-trick, and quite rightly so looking at the fixture.

It looked as if Foster's chances of going to the new Wembley were ended when Watford, the club where he has spent the season on loan, fell at the semi-final hurdle against United, the club that owns him, on Saturday.
The England international admitted his loyalties were torn as he watched from the stands at Villa Park before being told after United's 4-1 victory he was going to the final anyway - albeit as a spectator.
Foster has never kicked a football in United colours and has spent the last two seasons on loan at Watford, although he is due to return to Old Trafford in the summer.
"It was not very nice to watch to be fair," admitted Foster. "But I spoke to Tony Coton [the goalkeeping coach] after the game and he said I would be going with them to Wembley as part of the squad, even though I won't be involved. He wants me to taste what it would be like to be involved in a Cup final, which will be good for me.
"He wants me to be suited and booted so I will get a Cup final suit. I will try to get involved in some of the pictures at the end. It will be good to be with the squad and with the players in the dressing room before the game."
Foster's task next season is to compete with Edwin van der Sar for the No 1 jersey and he admits he is not returning to be a No 2 as it may affect his England career.
Foster, who made his international debut in February in a friendly against Spain, added: "If I don't play it will be a case of grinding another season out, sitting on the bench and seeing what happens the season after.
"At the end of the day, I am going to be at United and it's not a bad situation to be in. But I want to be out there playing to big crowds. I did not get into football to be a bench-warmer."

Let the mind games begin...
With both teams in the FA Cup final, the Champions League semi-finals and going for the Premiership title, it is set to be a dramatic end to the season.
Finally, after five or 10 years of the league being wrapped up early, this one is going right down to the wire.
Sure, you would rather be United than Chelsea because you are three points ahead with a better goal difference.
The Old Trafford club are in pole position, but then Chelsea have got the more experienced players as far as winning the Premiership is concerned, having got the last two.
Experience is going to count for an awful lot over the course of the next month or so, certainly as far as the two managers - Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho - are concerned.
Much of what happens will depend on them, on what they do and do not say in the dressing room, how they motivate their team and how they stop the players from getting too tired.
I am sure the mind games are about to start - if they have not already - but this time more than ever it is so important they do not say the wrong thing.
There are some people in the dressing room who will embrace this situation and love it, others who will be scared. You must have the ability to work out the characters in your team and then get the best out of them. The managers have to get that right.
Chelsea have been unbelievable this season. They have not got the fluency of Arsenal and they cannot counter-attack like United, but they just do not go away. They keep plugging away until they succeed.
It is like that famous Julius Caesar quote: "I came, I saw, I conquered." Chelsea just sort of weigh you up and then beat you.
The run they have had has been remarkable, when you think they have been fighting on four different fronts, but they are probably getting by on adrenaline now because every game is so massively important.
Against Blackburn on Sunday, they had the first FA Cup final at the new Wembley Stadium as their pot of gold at the end of the rainbow - and that got them through.
I have said before that Chelsea have changed the face of English football forever and they have provided everyone in the game with a different challenge, not least of all Ferguson.
If you look at the 1980s and 1990s, you could win the title with not-so-great teams, but now if you are to beat Chelsea now you must have a great team and be having a great season.
If United win the Premiership, they will have done just that. They are doing remarkably well but Chelsea do not back off and they will both be there at the death.
I do not think either of them will win all three trophies they still fighting for. The treble has been done before and it will happen again, but it is possibly easier to achieve when the league is wrapped up early, like it was for Man Utd in 1999.
If you are playing Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday and every game is vitally important, it makes it extremely difficult for all concerned.
But it is very exciting because we are going to have a great FA Cup final at the brand new Wembley and a really close title run-in as well.

Man Utd stand between Mourinho and quadruple

MANCHESTER, England: Jose Mourinho was relishing the looming prospect of Chelsea taking on Manchester United three times in 15 days after his side beat Blackburn Rovers to reach the FA Cup final on Sunday.
Chelsea's 2-1 extra-time victory means they will face United in the first FA Cup final to be staged at the re-built Wembley stadium on May 19, 10 days after the sides meet at Stamford Bridge in a potential Premier League decider.
England's top two teams are also just one step away from clashing in the Champions League final on May 23. Chelsea must get past Liverpool while United face AC Milan.
"It would be great to play them three times between now and the end of the season," Mourinho told reporters.
"The reality is what Chelsea and Manchester United are doing this season is unbelievable.
"They didn't progress in the League Cup but for the three major trophies, Manchester United and Chelsea are in all three.
"I think this is an amazing season for both of us. I hope the (league) game at Stamford Bridge is also a final.
"I hope we keep in the running and play that game with a chance to be champions."
Mourinho confirmed that he spoke to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich after the game, even though the pair are reportedly not on speaking terms.
"I chatted with Roman Abramovich here," he said. "I told him congratulations and he said congratulations to me as well."
Chelsea did not have an easy ride to the final with Blackburn having several chances to win in normal time, particularly a glaring headed miss by Morten Gamst Pedersen.
Mourinho said: "Once they scored the goal and I saw the way the game was going at the end I was afraid.
"If they scored a goal in the 81st minute or 85th minute the game would have been over, and they had a chance to do it with Pedersen. But in extra time Chelsea controlled the game."
Mourinho praised Michael Ballack, scorer of the winner 19 minutes into extra time, after a difficult first season for the German playmaker.
"His life was not very easy but he is a guy with a lot of experience and a real leader," Mourinho said. "He has a top mentality and he could resist the pressure. "Now he has scored a goal that is with the history of the club."
Blackburn manager Mark Hughes agreed that his side needed to win the match in normal time.
"People said it was a forgone conclusion and we have proved that was not the case," he said. "Extra time came at the wrong time for us as we had some momentum and if the match had gone on for five or 10 minutes more we would have won."

Rio Ferdinand feels Darren Fletcher is starting to secure the credit many at Manchester United believe he deserves.
The Scotland international is one of United's unsung heroes, having been asked to operate in a number of different roles, but his recent performances have caught the eye.
The way he dominated the midfield during The Red Devils' win over Roma in the UEFA Champions League drew as much praise as the performance of Cristiano Ronaldo, while he produced an assured display at right-back in Saturday's win over Watford.
Ferdinand's departure due to a groin injury paved the way for Fletcher to move to right-back and the England international feels the Scot has a key role to play in the final weeks of the season.
"The fringe players are very important," said Ferdinand.
"Look at Darren Fletcher. He was magnificent against Roma in central midfield and then he has been asked to play at right-back and looked as though he has been there all his life.
"He is a fantastic all-round footballer, who is now starting to get the credit his footballing talent deserves.
"The manager has said all along the players who weren't necessarily playing at the start of the season are the ones who have to come to the fore. They have done that."

MANCHESTER UNITED are ready to make a sensational summer move for Michael Owen.

Sir Alex Ferguson has focused his search for a striker on Newcastle’s 27-year-old England star, who has a £12million release clause in his contract.
Owen has been out with a serious knee injury since last summer’s World Cup finals but scored in a friendly game against Gretna last week.
He has been pleading with Toon boss Glenn Roeder for a chance in the first-team and could make his comeback against Chelsea next week.
Ferguson will only launch a bid if he is fully satisfied Owen has recovered from the knee operation.
A well-placed United source told us: “It is no secret that Sir Alex wants another striker and he is bound to be attracted by someone of Owen’s pedigree at such a competitive price. Naturally we would have to be certain he has recovered from his injury and that is why his return will be closely monitored.
“Ideally we want to see him in action for several games between now and the end of the season.”
United’s interest is certain to appeal to Owen, even though he still feels a debt to Newcastle after they paid £16m to sign him from Real Madrid nearly two years ago.
Owen still has his main home in the north-west, near Chester, even though he has a property in the north-east.
He is itching to get back into Premiership action and has also earmarked England’s Euro Championship qualifier against Estonia in June for his international return.

Chelsea beat Blackburn 2-1 with anextra-time winner from Michael Ballack in the FA Cup semifinal on Sunday to book an Wembley showdown with Manchester United.
Frank Lampard raced on to a Ballack pass and angled in a shot after just 16 minutes of a first half.
Jason Roberts leveled after break only to succumb to Ballack's goal on 109 minutes.
And the victory allowed Chelsea manager Mourinho head to the rebuilt Wembley aiming for his first FA Cup.
"It's a big, big final, between first and second in Premier League, between two semi-finalists in the Champions League," the Portuguese told Sky Sports.
There was a greater sense of urgency from both teams at the start of the second half and Chelsea should have put the game to bed within two minutes of the restart.
Ballack's incisive pass exposed the Blackburn offside trap, Drogba unselfishly squared the ball for Shevchenko, but the misfiring Ukrainian struck his shot against his standing leg and the chance was gone.
Rovers' equalizer came in the 64th minute when Roberts got the drop on Terry and dangled out a foot to divert Pedersen's free-kick past Petr Cech.
Blackburn were looking the more likely to settle the tie in normal time and only a magnificent save from Cech prevented Terry from heading Pedersen's long throw into his own net with only one minute to go.
The decisive goal came four minutes into the second period of extra time. Salomon Kalou's shot was blocked but the rebound fell to Ballack who drilled past an unsighted Friedel.

The Ron and Roon show: opposites with real attraction

For Sir Alex Ferguson there are two shooting stars in the firmament. "Rooney today, for me, was out of this world," the Manchester United manager cooed after the striker had blown away Watford with an "aggressive, determined" performance which probably ranked as his best for quite some time.
Given that the day before Ferguson had talked of Cristiano Ronaldo's "astronomical" improvement then he certainly has reason to believe that "they are something special, those two".
It has been Ronaldo's season and United have rewarded their talisman, the player who is garnering plaudits from every quarter with a five-year, £31 million contract - a cool £120,000-a-week - making him the club's highest-earner. Not so long ago, perhaps, it was on Rooney, not Ronaldo, that those honours would have been expected to cascade. Or at least English football would have hoped so. Yesterday there was a sharp reminder of just what a player the younger man, at 21 as opposed to Ronaldo's 22, is.
Two young tiros. Three goals. The Ron and Roon Show. But it was Rooney who was the match-winner. Speed, spikiness, skill. There is probably no one more thrilling in world football just now than Ronaldo but there remains something edgy and raw about Rooney. He probably even opens up the morning post with intent.
He certainly opened up Watford. Ferguson decided to go for the jugular with a bristling but risky 4-2-4 formation and there is nothing that Rooney likes more than hunting down the opposition. His starting point was the left flank, and Watford's right-back, Adrian Mariappa, got the chasing of his life, but like Ronaldo the striker was given licence to switch with Alan Smith through the centre and Ryan Giggs just off him.
It was fluid and slick and Rooney used the flanks as launchpads for both first-half goals. For the first he ran on to to Michael Carrick's pass, cut inside and slammed the ball unerringly beyond Richard Lee, who simply looked startled. So were the crowd. It was a breath-taking strike.
Then, moments after Watford had drawn level, he won a header against Jordan Stewart simply because he wanted to more than the defender and this time he set off down the right flank. Soon Rooney was inside the penalty area and although his shot grazed off Lee, the ball was diverted to Ronaldo.
Goals for United's two top-scorers. Indeed it should not be forgotten in Ronaldo's phenomenal season that although he has 21 goals, Rooney is not so far behind on 18. At the same time it is testimony to his durability that no one in the United squad, apart from Rio Ferdinand, has made more than Rooney's 47 appearances. Maybe at times he should have been rested as he is not the kind of player who can perform effectively at anything less than full tilt.
These were his fourth and fifth goals in this FA Cup campaign and the first rivalled the virtuoso chip against Portsmouth for its execution. For his second goal he was again the hunter, forcing Stewart to squander possession. The ball ran to Smith, he centred and Rooney swept it home. It could have been a hat-trick but opportunities were spurned.
There was, almost inevitably, a card also with Rooney booked for barrelling straight through Tommy Smith. It was a ninth caution of the season but that aggression is part of what Giggs termed the "fire within" as he likened Rooney to Roy Keane and Paul Ince. And although it needs to be controlled it must not be dimmed.
Ronaldo has so eclipsed the England striker at United this season that Rooney now clearly defers to Ronaldo but, on a bright spring evening, it was to be his day in the sun. And how Rooney shone.

Wayne Rooney muscled his way back onto centre stage as Manchester United confirmed their FA Cup final place with a 4-1 rout of Watford- but their appearance at the new Wembley Stadium on May 19 may come with a hefty price tag.
In a week when Cristiano Ronaldo has been hailed by Sir Alex Ferguson as a possible equal to Pele and Maradona - and signed a new #31million contract - Rooney proved the Portugal winger is not the only brilliant youngster at Old Trafford.

The 21-year-old lashed United into an early lead against Watford, then teed up Ronaldo to put them back in front following Hameur Bouazza's leveller.
With a booking for a feisty challenge on Tommy Smith as well, it was vintage Rooney and his tap-in put United on easy street long before Kieran Richardson finished off the scoring with a neat effort.
Yet amid the celebrations of an eighth final appearance under Ferguson, and the prospect of a mouth-watering clash with Chelsea, the concerns in the United camp were obvious following the loss of Rio Ferdinand to a groin injury.
With John O'Shea missing, Nemanja Vidic and Mikael Silvestre sidelined with long-term problems and Gary Neville at least a week away from a return to action from his ankle problem, Ferguson's defensive options have been ravaged to the extent Darren Fletcher was forced into the right-back role, with rookie Youth Cup star Craig Cathcart the only alternative.
At such a crucial stage of their treble bid and with so many opponents to face of far superior quality than Championship-bound Watford, United are facing the biggest test of their season.
Sheffield United, fresh from their hammering of West Ham, meet United on Tuesday, although Ferguson will at least allow his players the luxury of some celebration before addressing the Blades' visit.
For, while never hitting the heights of their seven-goal rout of Roma, the Red Devils still managed a thrill or two, and in Rooney had a stand-out star who looks set to be a major influence on United's bid for honours over the coming weeks.
Having witnessed United's awesome strength first hand on Tuesday, the last thing Aidy Boothroyd would have wanted was for his side to concede as early as the sixth minute.
The spellbinding movement of Rooney, Ronaldo and Ryan Giggs had already caused Watford a few headaches before they were opened up in startlingly simple fashion.
Gabriel Heinze started the move with an inside pass to Michael Carrick. The former Tottenham man quickly fed Rooney, who stepped inside Adrian Mariappa and promptly smashed the ball into the roof of Richard Lee's net.
Fists raised in triumph, Ferguson emerged from his dug-out to celebrate, the Red Devils fans roared and Villa Park awaited a slaughter.
The intense pressure duly came, but Watford gamely clung on and received an unexpected reward when Bouazza levelled.
United's defence appeared to lose concentration during a lengthy stoppage while Edwin van der Sar had treatment for a bang on his nose.
Jay DeMerit helped back a long Gavin Mahon throw back into the box and Bouazza got a firm strike on a volley which bounced in off the crossbar after flicking off Heinze.
Had Watford remained on terms for any length of time, particularly given Ferdinand's early departure, they would have scented a shock.
Instead, their equaliser merely ignited their opponents - and Rooney in particular - to greater effort.
The England striker has had his critics this season, but his determination to shove United in front again was immense.
Charging to the touchline, Rooney first won possession with a robust aerial challenge on Jordan Stewart. He then totally outpaced the Watford full-back as he strode onto Smith's return pass before delaying his cross long enough for Ronaldo to steal between two defenders and tap home one of the easier goals of the 21 he has scored this term.
Yet again, United were dominant, some of their play mesmerising.
But their enthusiasm was cut short by Ferdinand's glum trudge to the touchline, accepting the futility of carrying on in such pain.
His exit triggered a defensive reshuffle, which saw Fletcher fill in at right-back, with Heinze alongside Wes Brown in the centre.
The uncertainty within United's defence was obvious immediately after the re-start as Bouazza volleyed a good chance wide after another Mahon through created mayhem.
Van der Sar was then required to palm a Bouazza cross-shot away from his own bar and the sight of Ferguson exchanging angry words with Giggs was a sure sign of tension in the United camp.
Thankfully for Ferguson, his attack remains in tact and after providing Rooney with a tap-in, Smith fed Richardson, who completed a win which looked much more comfortable than it was.
Fergie 'so proud' of players
Sir Alex Ferguson faces an anxious 24-hour wait to discover the extent of Rio Ferdinand's groin injury after Manchester United secured an FA Cup final spot with a 4-1 demolition of Watford at Villa Park.
Their dream of a repeat of 1999 - when Sir Alex Ferguson's men won the Premiership, the FA Cup and the Champions League - is still alive.
Ferguson claimed the victory was as impressive as the midweek hammering of Roma in the Champions League quarter-final second leg.
'It was a fantastic performance; it was as good as Tuesday in terms of the endurance of the team, the courage, accepting the disappointment with Ferdinand being injured when we had to change the team,' the manager said.
'It was absolutely magnificent, I was so proud.'
On Ferdinand, who had to be replaced by Darren Fletcher in the first half, Ferguson said: 'Hopefully it's not too serious. He'll have a scan tomorrow. It's a groin injury. Hopefully he won't be out for too long.
'We'll know tomorrow evening. He'll have a scan in the morning and we'll get the results in the afternoon.'
The attacking trio of Ronaldo, Rooney and Alan Smith were particularly impressive.
Ferguson said of Ronaldo: 'It was his 21st goal today and he could go on to score 25, the form he is in.
'Wayne Rooney had his best game of the season today, he was absolutely fantastic. And Alan Smith has brought a breath of fresh life to the team. He is doing fantastically for us.'

Man Utd talk won't unsettle Hargreaves

Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves won't let Manchester United's interest distract him before the end of the season.
United made an offer for Hargreaves in January - with reports suggesting the Red Devils were prepared to pay £20million for his services.

Bayern turned down the bid at that time but club president Franz Beckenbauer has softened his stance and the door could now be open for a possible summer move.
Hargreaves told BBC Sport: "My job is as a footballer - the other stuff I don't control. I'll sit down with the club and these things will be discussed then, not out in the open.
"Franz Beckenbauer is the president of the club and obviously takes a keen interest in the situation.
"It's not very often an offer of that magnitude [United's previous bid] comes about and that's why there's so much interest.
"But I have a job to do as a player. I have a game to play on Sunday [against Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga] and that's where my focus is."

Keano's shirt fires me up

MICHAEL CARRICK revealed Alex Ferguson handed him the ultimate challenge when he gave him Roy Keane’s shirt.
Manchester United boss Ferguson presented it in pre-season, saying: “This will be good for you.”
Old Trafford legend Keane had left the previous season and nobody ever thought his place could be filled.
Carrick will never claim to have done so.
But he believes he has been inspired by the No 16 shirt and hopes he has filled part of the huge gap left by the Irishman.
Carrick said: “The manager came up to me and said ‘I’m giving you the 16’.
“He was aware people were asking if I was a replacement and he told me that was the challenge — to go and prove myself to people.
“He said the challenge would be good for me. I knew people were talking about me coming in when a legend had gone and left a gap.
“I was confident that the longer it went, the better I would get and the more I would prove myself.”
His role in Tuesday’s 7-1 win against Roma certainly went a long way to proving he is worthy of his place at the Theatre of Dreams.
There were raised eyebrows when United laid down £14million for the former Spurs midfielder, a fee that could rise to £18.6m.
Ferguson said back then he would prove his worth and rarely is the old master wrong.
Carrick said: “When a club pays a lot of money for you, people wonder whether you’re worth it.
“But I have improved as a player since I came here.
“I’m only 25 and believe my best years are still to come.”
Carrick is looking forward to his first FA Cup semi-final this afternoon against Watford at Villa Park.
But not before reminiscing once more about Tuesday night when he scored twice as United booked their place in the Champions League semi-finals.
He said: “It was quite surreal to be part of it and score twice, it is something I will never forget.
“The game was all set up, yet our squad seemed to be getting thinner and thinner by the minute due to injuries and suspensions.
“But we produced a great performance on the night.”
There is never any resting on laurels at Old Trafford, however, as Carrick quickly found out.

He said: “The biggest difference between Tottenham and here is the expectation from within the squad to win every game.
“There are born winners within this squad. There are lads who have achieved an awful lot throughout their careers and still have the determination to win every single game.
“It is a completely different environment to what you might have been used to.
“Straight after the game against Roma the thought was to move straight on to the next, another test when we will still have to be at our best in the FA Cup semi-final against Watford.
“There is another great incentive ahead of us — to play in the first FA Cup final back at the new Wembley Stadium.”
Carrick had always dreamed of being in the position he is now, with a Treble looming large.
He never thought it could become a reality — which is why he is determined to grab the opportunity that lies before him.
He said: “I have been excited all season, from one game to the next. This move to United and playing in the Champions League and challenging for the title is something you dream of as a kid.
“I have always wanted to see if I could cut it at the top level.
“No disrespect to Tottenham but we were not challenging for titles like we are here.
“I was thinking just the other day that this chance might not come along again. We have got into a position that does not happen very often.
“I have a feeling of wanting to make the most of it. You really do not want to let it slip away.
“You do not want to be sat there watching a final thinking ‘That could have been us’.
“We are in a great position and want to capitalise on what we have done and take the chance because we have not achieved anything yet.”
United have been in form virtually all season with only tiny slumps along the way.

What has happened to this great club who dominated the EPL for so many seasons, winning so many silverware and currently remaining empty handed for the past 2 seasons. Definitely a big disappointment to fans from all over the world. Replacements have to come in...but who should they buy? Who can they afford? Who wouldnt turn out to be a flop? Giggs, Neville and Scholes are definitely past their prime. Its ok to retain them to be present as upper studies for new players. Retaining them for their loyalty and contributions for such reasons is understandable if there area worthy replacements who can readily take their place when they are needed to do so. These replacements have to come in fast in order for United to function effectively as a solid team in the near future. If any delay occurs in this matter, United will definitely lose out to clubs with a wealth of players that are young and have the experience of playing together as a team.

Glazer brothers have to willingly fork out money to bring in renowned young talents that can once again bring back those glory days.

Soccer is becoming a very popular sport in the world today.

The English Premier League which is asia's most watched league is coming to the end of a season with Chelsea, lead by their extreme SORE losing, arrogant and poor english speaking boss Jose MOANrinho, winning the league twice in a row.

However there is still a fight for the second place between forgotten champions Man Utd and last season's champions league winners Liverpool.

Relegation has also been confirmed for Birmingham, West Brom and Sunderland who have managed only 2 wins all season.

Arsenal who are champions league finalists are also in contention for a Champions League Qualifier Spot. This spot is challenged by Tottenham. Arsenal, with a game in hand, are currently in 5th position, 4 points behind Tottenham.

Blackburn have secured UEFA Cup spot, currently in 6th position.

Oh no! No Wayne Rooney?!
Yes, No, Maybe. These are the answers that are circulating in tension between Coaches, Medical Staff and Managers of both Club and Country that the young Wayne Rooney. Rooney broke some funny bone that lastime david beckham also broke before the world cup last time or was it the Euros? anyway beckham is not important. So Fergie say he out of world cup. Cant believe i slept for 15hrs last nite...work was a killer the past week...and the way in which i drove the lorry...it must haf been the jet lag tat caused so much tiredness in me..

my whole sat wasted...wasted sleeping...

in a way it was good..didnt spend any money tat day..which brought me to another thought of when i was going to quit smoking...i haf tried quitting several times...looking back..it was easier to quit in the earlier stages...but its nvr too late...the amt of money i wasted on tat lifestealer..

sometimes dunno wat to do with em..so...juz smoke away ah..i shall quit..one day i will overcome it..

Thailand was whacked...fun, full of memories...ATEC was gd.. Got back on the 4th...not as pre-planned...but it was ok...getting stuffed at the canteen...and burning cash on the lan shop was great fun.. outfield was scorching...amazingly it rained in amazing thailand when out battalion went out for our first battalion ex... it always rains when the stingrays go outfield was the saying...however again amazingly in amazing thailand in didnt rain at all from ATEC till we got back..huh!?..nvm..
Today was my ORD...pink ic finally...its a shame how 2yrs and 2 months of my life in the army, tat was full of great times and experiences...tat eventually changed several aspects of life, had to come to a CRASHING (damn jialat...f*cking jialat lah) end...sad..really sad..

people can be assholes at times...i would love to mention names...but lets give them another chance..forgiving and forgetting..

damn...i'm leaving for thai in about 4++ hrs...ATEC stage 2...the last ride...after tat its the end of my section commander tour...and marks the end of the 2 yrs ++ of national service....in other words...i muz go around shouting in haPPiness "ORD LOH!!!!"....which i think will nvr happen...

i was the person to seal my coy line on last friday...while everyone left...i was the only one in the whole coy making sure everything was locked up b4 handing the keys to the DO...i took one last look at the empty coyline...damn...i didnt haf the heart to leave that place...it is the place that changed my life...no words can describe the pain i felt leaving the place...i'll nvr forget 5sir and the people tat make it up...

to many ord may b of great joy...i dun think i wud drink from the same cup as those pple... to me it marks the end of a wonderful journey....a journey tat i wished wud nvr end...well all things haf to come to and end...and this trip is one of markings for the end..

i'll only b back on the 3rd of march morning..so till then may all those who read this stuff tk care...and god bless....

wah...its been a month since my last post...it shows how busy i haf been...tired also lah...last wk atec stage one was finally over...stupid waste of f-king time if u ask me...y do u need to test each f-king individual batallion to rate and rank them when u noe they are all doing their part to fight as one if the need arises...wat civil rivalry? moral discouragement? wateva lah...its all a waste of time...i think the army training evaluation centre all started coz there was a excess of soldiers...they didnt noe wat to do with them and so they thought they cud start a enemy battalion for the sake of judging how good a battalion is by playing lazer quest in the open...stupid f-king system called the TES...doesnt work most of the time...and the overall decision made on how gd the battalion is is made by how well u calibrate or configure the damn TES (lazer quest) shit thingy...so tats y its a waste of time...u may b a f-king gd soldier...ippt gold SOC below 8min 30 sec...soldier of the month for the whole yr...but if u TES system doesnt work properly on tat day u r fighting a mission...u jeopardise the chances for the battalion to get redcon status 1...lame...f-k so its finally over...only stage 1....stage 2 is over in thailand to which i will b flying off on thurs morning...hope to haf a gd time there...

this whole week has been a balst...to say tat i haf been arriving home at earliest 6.30am for the past 3 days including today is a total understatement...the stuff tat i haf done...lets not go there...

so sian...its new year eve and i guess i am gonna spend it at home this yr...again... i hate to go out on the eves of these major public holidays...pple flock the streets on these days like they haf nvr been clubbing b4 or its like the opening of orchard road...very irritating to walk along the streets and then kenah spray by some stupid idiot who is having great time spraying confetti on everybody passing by...knnccb...its already so f-up that i haf to squeeze my way tru all these pple to get some fresh air....then out of no where this stupid f-ker will come and spray tat stupid f-king confetti on u...repetitively ..then u finally lose ur cool and start to throw punches.. those were the days...young, stupid and sometimes dangerous... i would like to apologise to the 6 banglas whom i attacked on xmas eve 2003..

stupid holiday ends on mon night...so wat else knnccb monday bk in lah...then tues got knnccb...24km tactical walk at pulau tekong ah....ccb...i still rmbr my sergeant in bmt telling me..."aiyah dun worry this 24km u walk only once in ur whole life"...ccb...then sispec walk 32km...then run 22km....then got army half marathon...then on tues got 24km...nbcb...f-king irritating...pple already ord mood..then this kind of stupid f-king exercise make pple want to think of awol...aiyah...but i not tat stupid lah..lan lan suck thumb lah..

long time since i last updated this thing...i knew i was nvr gonna upkeep it regularly... i dun even noe y i started it at the first place...Yup so wat has happened so far? POI is over...boy was it boring keeping guard over at jurong island...but it was a avenue for me to do some thinking..well alot of thinking actually..it was actually quite fun..we were not allowed to bring hp, mp3 players, playing cards, portable dvd players, fishing lines...bla bla bla...but i brought all those stuff...cant imagine spending 12hrs a day sitting in a small guard house in some deserted place of jurong island without all those stuff..

anywayz other than that same old stuff...hari raya is over..the long awaited break to fasting..it was as usual prayers in the morning...then visiting of my relatives later...had alot to eat and felt so bloated..gr8 food.. safkar is next week..held in 2sir. my coy is moving over there for exercises and interactions with the indo army for the next 2 weeks..it will b a good experience..i hope..alot of work to do and things to organise..hopefully i dun forget to do my packing and consulting by tom..coz tats the last day in 5sir camp till safkar..today the coy was out at 2sir cleaning the future accomodation of the participating contingents..however i was out at bedok playing hockey...yea..attachment started again...but its gonna b only every thurs for the nex month..hope to claim the throne this time..

i hate pharrell williams...watching him on tv rite now...he is such an attention seeking poser...if only i could punch him...he thinks he is so f*cking cool and all..he juz sucks..i dunno y i am typing this..ok..so its been a gd week for me...finally got to taste an indian pub..it was a totally different feeling...i've nvr been to an indain pub b4 this, coz i only visited popular typical r&b and h h places..and i was so excited when pandian finally told me he wud bring me...(haha like small kid like tat)...well it was a gd experience..its definitely more happening..And the ratio of boys : gals is more or less equal...so every1 gets a fair portion of flesh..haha..then there was ippt..one of my last chances to land my gold..and $200...and i nailed it on mon..it was a gd feeling..then there was SOC on wed...which i failed coz i fell off the swinging bridge thing and injured myself..b4 that someone also kicked me on the swinging trainer..goddammit...so there was another test today morning which i passed...b4 this the last i did SOC was over a year ago..back in sispec..totally unprepared...but wtf...its over..so its on to this sat then..Combat Marksmenship Shoot...if i nail that also it wud b another $200...which means my subsequent pay wud be $700 + $200 + $200 = $1100....tats like an officer's pay..it sure feels gd thinking bout it..i haf been staying in camp most of the time lately..cant b bothered to go for all these half day offs..so me and some of my buds rent VCDs almost every 3 days..and haf movie marathons..i think in 2 weeks i haf watched 20 new movies already...and i cant even rmbr all the titles..well i'm off to club again later..haha another indian pub....hope got no fights..i really need to b alive tom..cya ard then..

So many things were said bout brunei even before i stepped into the abode of peace..It wasnt tat bad..the terrain was back breaking..but it wasnt as hard as pple talked about..well maybe some of the conditions we were in were quite uncomfortable..all wet and stuff..but other than that it was pretty ok..it was a good experience..we had 1 day of m & m (mosque & museum) which was the most boring part of the whole journey..only fruitfull thing i did was probably watching a movie (flightplan) to kill time..its gd to b back..havent got any fotos coz my cam failed on me..waiting for the others to send me some...now for ATEC..tats in thailand. Feb i think...5 more months to ORD...

Last sat was a bitch..we all had to stay back in camp coz sun was another bitch..yea sun was AHM (Army half marathon)...it sounds so nice...HALF marathon..slut...HALF a marathon is 21 KILOMETERS...well i already did run 22km during my days in sispec...but it nvr crossed my mind tat i had to go tru it again..Firstly i didnt feel like running...but if i walked all the way..it would take at least close to 5hrs to complete...and 5hrs is a shit load of time..i juz wanted to get over and done with it..so took a slow jog..cutting a few "corners"..and made it to the end...was shagged..i didnt even haf any sleep the nite b4...how the hell was i to put myself to sleep at ard 8pm..when i juz woke up from the previous day's sleep at 5pm...confused? nvm forget it...i juz didnt sleep...well almost everyone in my bunk didnt sleep b4 the run...we were playing cards for hours..but its all over now...so after that part of regiment mlayu together with some of my men went to watch The Longest Yard...hilarious..nice movie..but b4 tat..i had to go meet this someone..a heartbreaker..who nvr failed in her duty yet again..(haha looks like i'm getting used to it)..then i almost didnt make it in time for the movie coz my key got stuck in the key slot...and i cudnt find a parking lot in suntec..after tat it was shopping for stuff for our brunei trip in beach rd..then HSH..
Brunei is juz ard the corner...and everyone whom i asked bout tat place said it was tough..oh well..i guess its all part of life..juz like the heart breakingS..haha..

Last week i juz went for a routine dental check up coz i had these toothache for like months..so i scheduled an appt with the mindef dental centre . It was gonna b my first dental check up it god knows how many yrs..as expected the problem was caused by 2 of my wisdom teeth..1 was impacted and the other deacying..they decaying one could b extracted easily..the other was a stubborn one and needs cutting and stitching..so last fri i got the decaying one extracted easily.And boy did it leave a blood waterfall for hours and a gaping hole ..I sure did had difficulty chewing food..so juz for a day i was on a liquid diet..Today the hole is shut..and i can chew normally..now my toothache is minimised to my lower jaw only..

Last week, I nvr thought i would make tru the field camp..Today it was finally all over...It sure did feel like forever..all outfield exercises are bout feeding mosquitos...a past time..

But this was definitely the most tiring exercise i ever had.But it was kinda fun too..especially when izhar was stung by a scorpion during a tactical halt and there he was with his pants down, explaining tat he felt a "buring sensation"..And the night at the fibua village were the platoon exchanged ghost stories trying to freak each other out..The fact tat our exercise enemy were reservists, didnt help at all..but i felt sad for them..there they were in their early 30s pushing their limits..some of them had to leave their wives, children and jobs just to go through this sh*t...The worst part of the exercise was the 10+ km walk to our objective..not only were we in the blistering mid day sun, the terrain wasnt tat encouraging either...Furthermore most of us only had a couple of hours of sleep the night b4...i cant believe its all over now...next destination...BRUNEI...of course nobody is expecting it to b any easier.. and then there is the AHM this wkend...21km run...sad case..Soon it'll b all over..there was something impt tat i learnt over the week..When u haf an oppurtunity to do something u like...Go for it..who cares wat ur frens think..to hell wif wat the others say...the impt thing is to b tru to urself..oppurtunities come only once..if u r lucky mayb twice..but if u dun make use of tat oppurtunity..u may later regret it..coz no matter how hard u try to make something happen when the window is closed, it may nvr happen again..i learned it the hard way..prevention is definitely better coz there is no cure for this mistake..only regret..

First came a month of admin period followed by NDP work for 2 months...then a long awaited 1 week break. It will b all over tom. It was juz like yesterday i was watching the fireworks display eagerly awaiting the KL trip. Its all over. The regiment melayu set out for KL on 2030 hrs 230805..arrived at KL ard 0200hrs 240805. Then we checked in into the sleazy motel where 7 of us had to b packed like sardines on 2 queen sized beds. the room is no larger then an avg hdb room (pics below).

but it was ok..it was only to spend the nite..the nex day we were of to a "real" hotel. Most of the time was spent shopping at the night markets..alot of gd bargains. The food was gd..we ate at a different restaurant for every meal. It was a gd trip full of events and great memories..we set off from there at 1730 hrs 260805 at reached homeland at 2300 260805..We will miss LTA Firdaus who got posted out of our unit. But regiment melayu will always remain in our hearts...haha lets not get mushy..damn it aint me at all..wtf!

Finally the carnival at marina was over. So is the dismantling of the stands. Finally back to camp. After next week's block leave its back to being a real soldier. Had my company specs cohesion yest. kinda boring. the pool competition sucked. only one game of pool. then it was dinner at a bbq seafood steamboat place. Frankly i hate cooking my own food. then we were all supposed to meet at 10 pm at zouk.All 30+ of us..but as planned the regiment melayu boycotted the event to play lan at town. i think my encik was pissed off. he left me a msg "fri then i sort out with u pple"....scary...reached home at bout 1.30pm lastnite after sending a couple of frens home..had one whole day today to recharge...coz tom morning its back to training...and 3 days ago smoking came back...i juz cant ask him to f*ck off..

Waking up at 6 in the morning is a torture...especially when u haf to make a rather long trip to marina to pick up litter...sporeans nvr fail to amaze me...despite the over generous amounts of dustbins provided, litter was everywhere but near the refuse areas...i even found used pampers..c'mon guys...i hate waiting...i juz had to wait 4hrs at NUH yest...today i had to wait the first 4 hrs to transport props for less than a minute...then another 4 hrs to clear rubbish for 10minutes...Army...wait to rush...rush to wait..i could haf contemplated suicide if not for my worthy sidekick 2nd sgt izhar...the self proclaimed "the most handsome sect comm"...then there is rohaizad...i feel so bad when i am bullying him...but its so fun...so i juz cant stop...then there is kid..he loves to be my "frenly" nemesis....its fun to b ard my platoon mates...it doesnt feel like i am actually serving NS...it was fun...and today i didnt smoke a full stick at all...juz a few puffs here and there...seriously its not bad...c'mon..give chance lah...7yrs leh...

its been 7 yrs since i started smoking...i dun even noe y i picked it up at the first place...i definitely had no peer pressure...i juz must haf been dumb. now its lowering my immunity system...i am open to infections....explains my cold...3 weeks and counting now...i haf smoked 5 sticks for the past 4 days...tats like a hell of a achievement for me...i haf to quit...its really bothering me and my money...

i thought buying a car wud be fun...totally brainwashed by videogames. once i had my car the excitement was replaced with a feeling of frustration..."howcome i cant go faster than that mercedes"..."hey that super 4 juz accelerated faster than me"...so i thought about upgrades...the only way to get the cash for the upgrades was to win races...so there i was on the BKE doing 130 while still "running in"...managing to overtake a subaru STi....i didnt get paid...i got a picture of my lisence plate taken...followed by a letter a week later stating i broke the speed limit...that was when reality came over to my house sat beside me...read the same letter...stared at me...and slapped my head...i woke up..it was no longer need for speed under ground 2 or midnight club 3...it was monthly installments,road tax,parking coupon, petrol costs, fines that i had to worry about first...mayb later...mayb i'll juz get my car so badly damaged then take a video bout my car and saying "pls mr.X....pls pimp my ride" then send it to MTV...yea like tats going to happen..

yea...go ahead...its ur turn to laugh...there i was days ago laughing at my frens who started their own blog...ok u dun haf to b a sissy to start one...i am only doing this coz i am bored...tats right...i completed all my games while i was attached out playing hockey...boy times were gd then...no its back to camp...but i was excused today...MC....i went to NUH yest coz my cold & fever was getting worst...then they brought me to this seperate facility...then the nurse proudly proclaimed to the doctor tat i was probably juz another dengue fever case "juz like the others"....she didnt even do a blood test....ok i shared the symptoms....but after the blood test...2 hours later....they told me , suprisingly with disappointment in their voice, "oh, sir, u dun haf dengue"....its like they were sad tat they cud not add me to their collection of dengue fever cases...so they made me wait another hour for an x-ray....so this definitely not local male nurse called me for the x-ray....i asked him "what is this for?i have a cold only"...he said happily "oh this is a chest x-ray...its to c if ur lungs going to get cancer"... if i could i would have killed him...i didnt say a word....so another hour later...the doctor called me up and said tat it was just a common cold...so i said "yes i know...u made me wait 4 hours juz to tell me this? i told ur nurses that i juz had a cold...i juz needed the medicine...not 4 hours of anxiety! did u noe ur nurses were telling me i had dengue and lung cancer?!"....then she said "its all juz precautions sir...maybe u r juz very stressed..it cud prolong ur cold...u shud rest well...working tom?"....and tat was it...she gave me an mc for today and the same lame medicine...then i drove of to the west coast 24hr drive tru Macs for dinner at 12.30am...ALONE......thx NUH.
